Our favorite restaurant in Eckernförde. Can recommend the mushroom cream schnitzel with croquettes, that's awesome;)

Rustic ambience in the middle of the town of Eckernförde, in short: a coherent gastronomic offer for a restaurant in an old half-timbered house. In good weather, numerous outdoor spaces. The quality of the meat is even more important than the more than sufficiently portioned plate dishes: it is in no way inferior to the big competitors of well-known steak house chains. Nice service, unobtrusive and service-oriented. Sometimes, especially in the season and when the weather suddenly changes, they are understaffed. A varied lunch menu with meat-free options too, at fair prices.

Very good steakhouse right in the city center in a historic building. The ambience is pleasant. The food is excellent. Everything cooked to the point and delicious. Friendly service. However, you should make a reservation here by telephone, as it quickly became full. The corona rules were strictly observed.

The steak house in the Domkrug is a restaurant that is a great address, especially for meat lovers, but also for everyone else. The menu offers everything from excellent salads to various meat specialties, fish and desserts. The value for money and the service are great. The popularity and quality of the restaurant are underpinned by the fact that it is fully booked. So if you want a table you should reserve in advance.

Really good and high quality ingredients, especially with the meat. The schnitzel was large and fresh, the pepper steak did not hide any negative surprises (tender and fresh) and the Argentinian beef fillet lived up to its name. Personally, I would have hoped for a bit more, but if you order it one step before medium, that is a flexible term or the next time it is better to be medium. Fried potatoes with onions and bacon were delicious, maybe a little crisp and you would be perfect and the pepper sauce as a paprika sauce with fresh peppercorns would not be my first choice either, but that's a matter of taste. As I said, there was nothing wrong with the preparation and definitely worth a second visit ...

We came in spontaneously. Great food, nice hosts, great value for money. Should we ever be in Eckernförde again, we will definitely eat here again!

Arrived at 13:00 and ordered the food a few minutes later. Unfortunately it took more than 45 minutes to serve. The food was very good. Although we still wanted to order something, we were more or less asked to leave at 2:20 pm because the waitress is about to take a break. Sorry, that's not possible.

The portions are very large, which is actually not bad. The food tasted very good and the service was friendly and quick. The ambience was not my taste, but as you know, you can argue about that.
